Do you need electricity?
NO, the water is fed through the resin tank at tap/tank pressure gravity.
Does the water fed pole system have filters to replace or clean?
YES, with frequent use, the resin in the resin tank needs to be replaced and YES, the carbon pre-filter needs to be occasionally replaced, but a TDS meter is supplied with each package to test the water to indicate when these should be replaced.
Does the water fed pole system provide a continuous flow of water?
YES.
Is the flow of water slowed by the system?
YES, tap pressure is too high at about 250psi, You will get a tap on the hose to reduce the flow to about 60psi at the head.
Do you wash with normal water and then rinse with the de-ionizing system or use de-ionizing all the time?
NO, you wash with DI water and rinse with DI water. DI (pure) water attracts dirt from the surface (normally, no need for detergent). The rinse is literally. 
Why do solar panels need cleaning?
If your solar panels are not cleaned regularly, they will not run at their optimum performance. It is important to protect and maintain your investment. The energy figures claimed by your solar panel installers are based on clean solar panels. To make the most of the government feed-in tariff, you need regular solar panel cleaning. Why Rainwater Will Not Clean Solar Panels?
A good way to illustrate why rainwater will not clean solar panels is by looking at your car windscreen. If you didn’t clean your windscreen for 6 months, how much visibility would you lose? If left, the grime on your windscreen would accumulate and eventually ‘green’ over. Even if the car is rained on, the rain contains airborne dust particles that settle and attach to the surface after the rainwater evaporates. When we use our windscreen wipers, we clean the centre of the screen, but where the wipers do not reach, there is a film of dirt. The whole of your solar panel is in exactly the same condition as the edge of your car windscreen because they are both exposed to the same elements. Visibility through your windscreen is lost due to the loss of light. Therefore, the same principles hold true for solar panel cleaning. It is very important to maximise the light getting into the solar panel and in turn, increase your financial reward..
Why Not Having Your Solar Panels Cleaned Could Invalidate Your Warranty?
Some solar panel installation companies are making solar panel cleaning a condition of their warranty. Should something go wrong with your solar panels, if you do not have proof of regular solar panel cleaning by professionals, your solar panels may not be covered by the warrant.
What Are The Benefits Of Solar Panel Cleaning?
According to the World Academy of Science & Technology, “A drop in the efficiency of a solar PV panel is not desired. One of the contributing factors in the drop of efficiency in solar PV panels is the accumulated dust on the solar panel. The National Renewable Energy Laboratory puts that figure even higher, at 25%.
